Welcome to Gooseberry Designs! Our studio is dedicated to good design and beautifully made home decor and stationery. We specialize in hand-drawn maps + illustrations for any occasion. I’m Nina Kulick, designer, and founder. My daughter inspired me to start Gooseberry when she was born (15 years ago), so, I put my scientific career on the shelf and began to raise my little daughter and my little business. I hope you enjoy our creations!

About Nina Kulick
I’m Nina Kulick, designer and founder of Gooseberry Designs. I love tea, reading, watching mysteries, illustrating, and traveling the world. I am a self-taught artist and a neuroscientist by education. People often ask if I miss being a scientist. I always answer: I’ve never stopped being a scientist! Being a Mother and a Small Business Owner requires experimentation, imagination, trial and error, and gumption. They are the hardest jobs I’ve ever had, but I’m so grateful to do what I do!
