Audrie started Joyce & Rose to fuel her casual candle-making hobby and it has turned into an Etsy shop selling non-toxic candles, resin creations, and wellness products. Started in 2020 after lockdown boredom and the nudging of friends, Joyce & Rose is a passion project of Audrie's. Audrie is a queer, disabled, and Jewish femme living in Brooklyn with her partner and their Boston Terrier. When she's not making candles, Audrie works in public health and government affairs.

Audrie is a queer, disabled, and Jewish femme. Born and raised in rural upstate New York, Audrie now lives in Brooklyn with her partner and their Boston Terrier. By day, Audrie works in public health and by not-day, she makes candles, trains people running for elected office across the country, and serves on a non-profit board and the alumni board for her alma mater.
